THE CAMERA WHISPERER GRADING PHOTOGRAPHY SCALE OF LEVELS
Find out here your skill set and creativity.
We like to use a scoring rating system, (FROM 1-10) to identify your current performance and also be used to see how well your progress is improving.
This also helps us identify your strengths and weaknesses, to cater a creative progress plan for you.
It is best you are honest here when making your selection.
Level 1 – Love the idea of taking pictures and have no idea what you are doing. You have no score yet.
Level 2 – You own most of the equipment, you kind of understand what good photography. You are a hobbyist. Have little to no skill-set nor creative knowledge to create a good photo. Some of your photos are worthy. You need help identifying what makes and what it takes to create a worthy picture. Mostly inspired by random shooting with no real direction.
Your technical score is a 1. Your creative score is a 1.
Level 3 – You own all the equipment; your understanding of photography is better because you are learning from on-line photography websites. You shoot some heroes (fantastic) and you are starting to think about challenging your photography to your limits. Possibly, to become professional. Maybe even start making a portfolio. Selling stock. You are at the cusp of moving up to the next level to take those stronger photos. However, you need more creative work. Work that speaks out about your photography. You need this by challenging your creativity and understanding what it takes to take great original heroes?
Your technical level is good. Your creative side lacks originality because you need more creative focus on your work.
Your technical score is a 3-5. Your creative score is 2-4.
Level 4 – You have a website showcasing your beautiful work. Maybe you are shooting some paid assignments, even selling some stock. At this level, your photography is polished at times. You are at this level because you take this seriously. You are starting to see what it takes to be good. It is exciting. However, talents still need to be tweaked to the professional level.
This probably is the hardest level because there is an ocean of skilled photographers at this level in this world. You still need to stand out.
Your technical score is a 6-9. Your creative score is still a strong 5-8.
Level 5 – You make a living taking pictures for your clients. You cannot take a bad picture because professionals are as good as their last assignment. Wow keep challenging your creativity. Great work!
At this level, your technical score is 9-10. Your creative score ranges from 8-10
Level 6 – Artist: Fly and be free!
We all strive within to be a true artist. This level is incredibly unique. This is not calling yourself a “fine artist” either because you are selling "fine art prints" on some website.
An artist works on bodies of work for themselves and commissioned work.
You cannot score this section for an artist makes art.

ABOUT - CREATIVE PACKS
I created The Camera Whisperer because my sole purpose is to help you—the photographer—navigate the overwhelming, online, self-teaching, workshop, seminar world of photography that you’re struggling with.
And why do you struggle?
I believe you're too inundated by online, self-taught photography sites. (I call this DIY learning.)
They help you learn skill-sets, but at the end of the day, success still boils down to your individual creativity.
And you need creative challenges. All professionals do!
Whether you’re in the studio or on location, you’re always working to give your photography your own style.
Now you’re ready for that next level.
What better way to get there than by having a professional photo editor and photographer guide you on strengthening your photography.
The goal of The Camera Whisperer is to help you through the creative process and to educate your creative side.
Many photographers know the basics of photography or may even have advanced skills, but they have little idea about the creative process and the photo editing that will make their work stronger.
This is where The Camera Whisperer can help.
I’ll personally help you deconstruct your photography skills and work on building your own style through the creative process of personal assignments, coaching, and mentoring.
Taking a picture is easy. Creating an image that is your own, that you’re proud of, that expresses your individual vision is where I can help.
Photography is a craft that takes a lifetime. Let me help you perfect it.
Thanks for the read.
